"the heart begs from within"

The heart begs from within

but the cold and frigid shell

never allows it a companion

so it rots

until the body becomes a collection

of frost and another ecosystem forms,

until the soil covers the one who used to love

and the stars forget the one who used to be;

the mind begs from within

but the naive and violent heart

never allows it to have its wish

so it falls

until the body becomes just that,

an object of chemistry

until the ones who were supposed to love

forget the promise they once made.
