You move mountains with your eyes

and grow trees with your roots

and yet somehow,

after a day full of rising the sun

and guiding the clouds

you come home

and you sit

in your pile of bones

and you cry;

the tears leave your eyes

and you forget what has been done

because tomorrow the mountains need to be moved

and the trees need to be grown

and the must be risen

and the clouds must be pushed

and though these acts are miraculous

you have desensitized yourself

to your nature

so instead you wonder

whether it even matters

and you ask through tears

if it would be any different

if you left.
