A pearl necklace and a creme lacy bra-

a romantic with no romance

and an empath with no connection;

a purple aura

and an affinity to the moon

because the moon is essentially a rock,

a rock will not respond.

Maybe I am a little bit stubborn

and maybe I am

someone who is

“difficult,”

but it is equally likely that the pearls I wear

and the lace on my chest

signify my desire to connect

and show that I am just

confused.
